Ripples radar: A touch of traditional
We’ve handpicked some of our favourite real Ripples bathrooms which embrace all that is great about classic design.
Deco design
The clients were looking for a complete refurbishment on their Victorian home however they wanted to keep the character of the property intact. The bespoke iron modesty panel is a focal feature in the room and one of the clients’ favourite elements due to its art-deco feel. The antique mirror and freestanding bath add a sense of elegance and fit the traditional scheme perfectly.
Style tip: With well-maintained bathrooms lasting upwards of 10 years, investing in timeless classics will ensure your bathroom won’t easily date.
Victorian vibes
The homeowners of this Victorian terraced house in London wanted to blur the lines between traditional and modern in a beautiful bathroom that would stay true to its roots. Classic style brassware and the freestanding bath allude to the property’s Victorian heritage, whilst black accessories and pendant lighting add a modern twist to this bathroom design
Style tip: When it comes brassware, living finishes are a great choice in traditional bathrooms. Their unprotected exterior means each piece evolves and develops over time, creating a unique warmth and character. The ‘unfinished’ options will oxidise and vary in colour based on use and the surrounding environment.
Regal roll top
The owners of this townhouse weren’t afraid to make a statement and opted for a richly coloured freestanding bateau bath to enhance the impressive space. The dark wooden furniture and flooring are fitting for this character property and beautifully match the colour of the original integrated fireplace. Brushed black chrome brassware adds a striking industrial element to the scheme.
